Team DriveAway offers opportunities in multiple divisions, including Singles, Non-CDL, New Deck, Used Deck, and Boom.
As an Independent Contractor, you'll transport units nationwide on over-the-road (OTR) routes with the flexibility to choose the loads that fit your schedule. This is not a company driver or owner/operator role.
What You Can Expect:
- Competitive Pay: $0.72 - $1.55 per mile + a fuel surcharge for most driving divisions (varies by load & driving division)
- Same-Day Pay: Available once all required paperwork and logs are submitted and approved
- Flexible Work: Run 2-5 loads per month while maintaining control of your schedule

Additional Job Description
- Drivers may select the loads they want to transport; however, they must remain active by completing 3-5loads per month.
- Drivers must maintain accurate, daily DOT logs using the MOTIVE app for the duration of their contract.Paper logs are not accepted.
- Drivers must check in with their dispatcher at least once per week, even when not currently transporting one of our loads.
- Loads range from 300-800 miles on average, depending on our customers'needs.
- Although our company name includes "Team," our contracted drivers operate solo only. We do not utilize team drivers.

Position Requirements:
- Must hold a Valid DL(Non-CDL) or CDL Class A or Class B (Deck positions require Double/Triple (T) Endorsement)
- Must have aMinimum 1 years of verifiable OTR CMV driving experiencewithin the last 3 years
- Deck positions require Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR CMV driving experience + 1-year verifiable decking & un-decking experiencewithin the last 3 years
- Non-CDL position requires Minimum 1 year of verifiable OTR professional driving experience with a driveaway companywithin the last 3 years
- Rideshare driving (Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, etc.) does not count toward driving experience.
- Must maintain arelatively clean driving record and stable employment history.
- Must be able to provide DOT numbers of previous employers for verification.
- Must be able to provide documentation of companies you have transportedfor within the last 3 years.
- Must have a strong knowledge of DOT HOS regulations and ability to maintain accurate, up-to-date DOT logs daily. Drivers must log as they move throughout the day using the Motive App- Paper logs are not accepted.
- Must provide your own tools and equipment for decking and un-decking trucks.
- Must submit all required paperwork and documents on time and maintain excellent communication with dispatch.
- Punctuality is essential at all pickup and delivery appointments.
- Must consistently demonstrate a positive and professional attitude.
- Must use MacroPoint for Truckers to provide real-time load tracking to our customers.
- Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections are required on every load and must be logged properly.
- Photo Documentation is required for every load.
- Driver is responsible for fuel for transport and are encouraged to maintain at least 1/4 tank of fuel during transport.
- Escrow, Occupational/Accidental Insurance and Deductible Buy Back Insurance required. (More information provided on application)
