Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Oral Surgery Office Receptionist/ Insurance Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service, checking patient insurance, cooordinating benefits while managing the administrative tasks of our Oral Surgery office. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong clerical skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar efficiently.
Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
verifying insurance benefits
entering in treatment plans
Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
Process insurance claims Dental and Medical, verifying patient eligibility and benefits.
Assist with billing inquiries and payment processing as needed.
Utilize WinOMS or similar Oral Surgery office management software for patient management tasks.
Communicate effectively with both patients and Oral Surgery staff to ensure smooth operations.

Experience

Previous experience as dental office setting or a medical receptionist preferred.
Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Familiarity with dental office management practices and procedures is beneficial.
Proficiency in using WINOMS or similar software systems is advantageous.
Xray Certificate preferred.
CPR preferred.
