The Restaurant Manager position manages the restaurant operation to ensure efficient and profitable operations. The Restaurant Manager coordinates a variety of activities as designated by the Executive Management Team. Managers are responsible for the business performance of their restaurant, as well as maintaining high standards of food, service, and health and safety.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts (Front & Back of House).
Managing staff and providing them with feedback.
Responding to customer complaints.
Ensuring that all employees adhere to the company's dress code standards.
Meeting and greeting customers.
Running the front of the house.
Advising customers on menu and beverage choices.
Training and motivating staff.
Stepping in the necessary roles when employees are absent.
Work directly with the Executive Management Team to ensure for a smooth restaurant operation.
Taking responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant.
Analyzing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitability.
Organizing marketing activities, such as promotional events and discountschemes.
Responsible for the opening and closing check out processes.
Preparing cash drawers and providing petty cash as required.
Helping in any area of the restaurant when circumstances dictate.
Qualifications: Must have 3 years of experience in Front of House restaurant operations. Excellent customer service. Ability to think quickly on your feet. Must have high integrity and solid work ethic. Result driven and creativity. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Expected to work long hours during peak periods, evenings, and weekends.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
