Job Description:
RECENT GRADUATES FROM TRUCK SCHOOL THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO FINALLY GET A JOB IN THE TRUCKING INDUSTRY
In most cases the only option for Recent Grads is Over the Road (OTR). It costs the company a lot of money to go through the hiring process, check backgrounds, MVR's etc and send you out with a mentor.
Most companies aren't hiring recent graduates right now as there are too many experienced drivers chasing too few jobs. This is a rare opportunity to get a job as a Recent Grad before it's filled up and we don't take any more drivers.
In most cases the only realistic option for a Recent Grad is out on the road every for 2 to 3 weeks at a time. Remember you must get this experience to qualify for the local or home weekly jobs so take the opportunity we are offering you to start your career.
From time to time, we do encounter some areas of the country where we can hire Recent Grads for a dedicated job but that is very rare however if that option is open, we will let you know when we contact you, but for planning purposes plan on the Over the Road Jobs.
Most drivers will stay within Their area of the country. For instance, Drivers on the East Coast normally will not drive past I-35 and Drivers on the West Coast normally will only go as far East as NM and Colorado. No Coast-to-Coast Driving.
If you are stuck on only a local or home weekly job as a recent grad it's most likely you will continue to be unemployed for a long time.
Most Local or regional jobs require a minimum of 3 to 6 months of Tractor Trailer Experience and that does not include Truck School time or your time with a trainer. The only Tractor Trailer time that counts is solo or team time with no trainer in the truck.
This job includes full benefits and is a W2 position. Health Care, Dental, Vision, 401K matching, Paid Vacation etc. Starts just 30 days after you are hired.
