- Beverage Preparation: Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Customer Service: Greet patrons, offer menu recommendations, answer questions, and ensure guests have a positive, memorable experience.
- Compliance & Safety: Check identification to verify legal drinking age and monitor patrons for over-consumption, intervening or cutting off service when necessary to prevent liability.
- Cash & POS Management: Take orders, process cash and credit card transactions, and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately.
- Bar Maintenance: Maintain a clean workspace, wash glassware, restock ice, beer, wine, and liquor, and perform opening/closing cleaning duties.
- Inventory Control: Monitor product levels and communicate with management to ensure supplies are well-stocked and orders are placed.
- Mixology Knowledge: Strong familiarity with classic cocktail recipes, wine pairings, and local craft beers.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, active listening, and a friendly, engaging demeanor.
- Multitasking & Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts, move quickly, and efficiently handle multiple drink orders in a fast-paced environment.
