Bartenders at our company are responsible for setting up and breaking down bar stations, and helping customers enjoy themselves. We're looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic individual who can efficiently and effectively fill drink orders from a busy bar and can keep the bar stations clean and sanitary to ensure the safety of our patrons. We want someone who can provide attentive, friendly customer service and has impeccable attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Take an order from a customer, including any special requests.
- Mix various drinks for customers.
- Maintain adequate stocks of alcohol and mixers.
- Estimate how much alcohol and mixers to buy.
- Maintain the appearance of the bar and the cleanliness of glassware.
- Keep records of alcohol and mixer sales and purchase amounts.
- Handle confrontation between customers who are challenging one another or fighting.
- Have a basic knowledge of world geography.
- Be familiar with the bar's menu;.
- Know the ingredients of common mixed drinks.
- Maintain the bar's cash register.
- Operate basic restaurant kitchen equipment such as a blender or juicer.
