Position Overview
Games Coordinators are the face of Wonderfly at off-site events and mobile activations. This is a hands-on role that combines event facilitation, guest experience, safety, equipment setup, transportation, teardown, and inventory care. You will help deliver events that are safe, organized, high-energy, and fun from start to finish.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Event Hosting & Guest Experience:
- Greet event hosts, confirm the event plan and timeline, and set expectations confidently
- Explain rules clearly and lead gameplay with energy, structure, and professionalism
- Adapt games and activities based on group size, age, energy level, and available space
- Keep play areas organized and maintain control of participant behavior respectfully
- Answer guest questions and handle minor issues on-site
- Escalate major guest concerns or event issues to the appropriate Lead or General Manager
Safety & Event Execution
- Enforce safety standards and required protective equipment consistently
- Stop unsafe play immediately and reset expectations clearly
- Perform a quick site safety scan before gameplay begins and adjust boundaries as needed
- Help ensure all guests understand rules quickly and can participate safely
- Maintain a fun environment without compromising safety
Equipment, Logistics & Operations
- Prepare and load equipment using required forms, checklists, and inventory systems
- Transport equipment using a company van or personal vehicle in accordance with company policy
- Set up and break down event equipment correctly and efficiently
- Clean, count, pack, and store equipment properly after each event
- Track inventory and report missing or damaged equipment immediately
- Complete post-event notes, feedback, and any required reporting
Professionalism & Readiness
- Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to represent Wonderfly well
- Communicate professionally with guests, venue staff, and teammates
- Work effectively in changing event conditions including heat, cold, grass fields, gyms, and festivals
- Stay flexible, solution-oriented, and calm in fast-paced environments

Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be comfortable with active work, including running, setup, loading, and outdoor events
- Must be comfortable working in varying weather and event environments
- Must have a reliable cell phone
- Must be willing to drive a company van or personal vehicle for equipment transport, according to company policy
- Must be available for part-time event-based work, including weekends and other peak event times as needed

- Equipment arrives complete, functional, and ready for use
- Events are set up correctly and run smoothly
- Guests understand the rules, stay engaged, and have a great time
- Safety is maintained consistently
- Hosts feel supported and would book again
- Equipment is returned clean, accounted for, and properly stored
Growth Opportunity
This role can lead to advancement into a Games Lead Coordinator position for high-performing team members. Promotion readiness includes strong event leadership, reliable execution, excellent inventory care, calm decision-making under pressure, and consistent performance. Minimum eligibility includes 75+ hours worked as a Coordinator with consistent exceptional performance and less than 5 occurrence/incident points in the last 30 days.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week

- Are you willing to undergo a background check, provide a copy of your driving record, and acknowledge that certain violations may disqualify you from employment and/or driving Wonderfly company vehicles?
Disqualifying driving violations include, but are not limited to DUI/DWI, leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving, driving on a suspended or revoked license, excessive speeding, improper lane changes, following too closely, texting or handheld device use while driving, and similar offenses.
