JOB SUMMARY
TechnoGuard is seeking an experienced Team-Lead to supervise field technicians and coordinate daily work on data center projects. Data center and construction experience are highly preferred; this role requires a strong understanding of airflow containment systems as well as the proven ability to lead and manage site teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Team-Lead supervises technicians on-site to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within scope. This role oversees daily crew activities, including task assignments, timekeeping, materials, and required reporting. The Team-Lead works closely with the Foreman and Project Manager to maintain quality standards and support successful project completion.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Hold daily crew meetings to communicate project goals, deadlines, and safety expectations
- Communicate with clients and customers daily on progress.
- Send daily progress reports to Project Coordinators and Managers.
- Work with other trades to communicate to ensure all work is finished properly, and project deadlines are met.
- Delegate tasks and monitor crew productivity and performance
- Motivate team and lead by example (i.e. be on time, dress appropriately, clear communication and ready to work)
- Track and manage site materials, including inventory pulled from the warehouse and forecasting shortages
- Maintain accurate documentation including daily logs, service reports, incident reports, and discipline reports using Assignar
- Perform ongoing quality control to ensure work meets TechnoGuard standards; correct any issues as well as report them to foreman and project managers
- Inspecting sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards
- Identify and communicate project risks, delays, or material issues to the Foreman and Project Manager
- Support training and development of technicians through on-the-job coaching and collaboration with QC/Trainer
- Ensure job site safety by identifying hazards and enforcing safe work practices; Report issues and write ups in a timely manner
- Coordinate with Scheduling and Logistics Manager regarding technician attendance and timekeeping
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean, organized, and secure condition; Safely operate company vehicles and equipment
- Ensure materials and equipment are returned to the warehouse clean and organized
- Maintain a professional work environment and ensure customer satisfaction
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience leading field crews or performing a Team Lead–level role in data center or similar construction environment strongly preferred
- 1-3 years of technician experience required
- 1 year or more management experience preferred
- Ability to lead and coordinate crews of 5–10 technicians
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Attention to detail in a busy environment
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship or naturalized citizenship status
- Forklift certified or be able to obtain certification
Applicants must be comfortable working at heights and able to work in areas exposed to constant loud noises, with temperatures ranging between 0°-100°F, and be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand or be moving up to 90% of the workday.
A pre-employment drug screen and background check will be required.
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time, on-site role
- Hours: 6AM – 2:30PM Monday to Friday, overtime as required
- Pay rate: $28 to $32/hour, based on experience
