We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Forklift Driver Operators to join our dynamic warehouse team. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts such as reach trucks, Hi-Lo lifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers to load, unload, move, and position materials safely within the warehouse.
- Manage warehouse inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock levels and locations accurately.
- Perform order picking tasks efficiently using various equipment including pickers and pallet jacks to fulfill customer orders promptly.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipments, preparing pallets for dispatch, and ensuring proper documentation is completed.
- Support warehouse distribution processes by organizing materials for storage or shipment while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and materials handling.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve safety procedures, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklift trucks in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Mechanical knowledge sufficient for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting issues promptly.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation and materials handling.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, or weight verification.
- Previous experience in shipping & receiving or order picking is highly desirable.
