We’re seeking a dynamic and outgoing Outreach Assistant to support the team in expanding its reach across Prince George’s County. This role is ideal for someone who loves engaging with the public, promoting health and wellness, and being part of a mission-driven team. The position is part-time, with varying hours a week, with some evenings, weekends and holidays required.

Represent the Get Fit Mobile unit at parks, events, playgrounds, and community centers.
Promote upcoming wellness programs, distribute flyers, and engage with the public.
Assist with setting up and supporting health education and fitness activities.
Capture attendance and participant feedback during outreach visits.
Maintain positive relationships with community members, camp staff, and program participants.
Help document events through photos, video, and short social media clips (optional but encouraged).

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION

This position is Seasonal/part-time and is not eligible for benefits.

Must successfully pass a complete background investigation prior to hire.
