Farrish of Fairfax, a family-owned and operated Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram dealership proudly serving Northern Virginia since 1958, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Parts Stock Clerk to join our Parts Department team. Position Overview: The Parts Stock Clerk is responsible for receiving, stocking, organizing, and maintaining accurate inventory of genuine CDJR parts. You will play a key role in keeping our parts department running efficiently so our service technicians and customers always have what they need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts shipments against packing slips and purchase orders
- Accurately stock parts in designated bin locations using proper inventory procedures
- Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits
- Pull and prepare parts orders for the service department, parts counter, and wholesale customers
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized parts storage area and warehouse
- Update inventory records in the dealership management system
- Assist with returns, core returns, and other inventory-related tasks
- Support Parts Manager and team members as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous warehouse, stockroom, or inventory experience preferred (automotive parts experience is a plus)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well in a team
- Automotive knowledge is helpful but not required — we will train the right candidate!
