Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our allergy and asthma healthcare team on a part-time basis. We prefer 2 days/week such as Mondays and Thursdays if possible, but we are flexible.
Duties
- Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately.
- Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to monitor patient health status.
- Assist with clinical procedures, including medication administration, allergy procedures and breathing tests (these will be taught to the candidate).
- Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently to ensure accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical history.
- Conduct ICD coding for diagnoses to facilitate billing and insurance processing; understand anatomy and physiology to support patient assessments.
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, explaining procedures clearly, and ensuring comfort throughout visits.
- Support medical administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and managing patient flow in busy clinical environments.
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
