We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and decorating cakes, with a keen eye for detail and design. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating beautiful and delicious cakes that meet our customers' specifications, ensuring high-quality standards in food production.
Responsibilities
- Design and decorate cakes according to customer orders and specifications, ensuring aesthetic appeal and quality.
- Prepare cake batter, frosting, and other ingredients as needed for decoration.
- Utilize various decorating techniques, including piping, fondant work, and airbrushing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely production and delivery of cakes.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with cake selections and custom orders.
- Package finished products for display or delivery while ensuring presentation quality.
Experience
- Previous experience in cake decorating or pastry arts is required.
- Familiarity with food production processes within the food industry or restaurant settings is beneficial.
- Strong skills in food preparation techniques and knowledge of baking principles.
- Ability to use kitchen tools effectively, including knives and various decorating equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
