Assistant Food & Beverage Manager
Chevy Chase Club is seeking a confident, detail-oriented hospitality leader to join our Food & Beverage leadership team as an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in floor presence, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is motivated by delivering consistent, high-quality experiences to members and their families.

Position Overview
The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports day-to-day dining operations with a strong emphasis on service standards, team development, and floor leadership. This role works closely with senior managers to ensure smooth execution, clear communication, and a welcoming, well-paced dining experience across assigned outlets.
You will be highly visible on the floor, engaged with both members and staff, and expected to anticipate needs, solve problems in real time, and reinforce standards through presence and coaching.
Key Responsibilities

Support daily food and beverage operations with a strong focus on service execution

Actively manage the floor, ensuring professionalism, pacing, and attention to detail

Train, coach, and support service staff to deliver warm, consistent hospitality

Assist with scheduling, staffing adjustments, and labor awareness

Help execute private events and high-volume service periods

Uphold club service standards and contribute to a positive, accountable team culture

Address member feedback and service recovery with urgency and care
Qualifications

2–3 years of supervisory or management experience in hospitality (private club, upscale restaurant, or hotel preferred)

Strong floor presence with the ability to lead calmly under pressure

Proven ability to train, motivate, and hold teams to high standards

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience
Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary: $70,000–$80,000, commensurate with experience
