Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including coffee, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks with precision and flair
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring smooth transactions
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
- Handle cash and card payments efficiently, maintaining accurate cash handling and cashiering procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards during food preparation, serving, and beverage crafting
- Assist in food handling and basic food preparation tasks to support kitchen operations when needed
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure prompt service and high customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista or in food service or retail math is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for sales transactions, cash handling, and inventory management
- Experience in the food industry or café environment is a plus but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
