Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious CDL A licensed driver to join our team for local delivery route
- Shift days: Mon-Fri
- Shift start and end time:4:30am-1:30pm
- Is this a temp to hire opportunity? No
- Liftgates? Yes
- What percentage of the work time will involve driving? 80%
- How far will they be driving daily/weekly? 150-200
- What will the worker be doing other than driving? Load truck
- Will this job require lifting? If so, what is the maximum weight? 70lbs
What You Will Do:
- Safely and reliably operate delivery vehicles
- Make deliveries to customer job sites, industrial locations, and other branches
- Daily pre-route vehicle inspections for vehicle readiness using the Driver’s Vehicle Inspection Report
- Ensure truck is properly loaded, secured, and within weight
- General warehousing in support of delivery route(s)
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and recent experience in commercial truck driving
- Proven experience with route driving, delivery driving, or over-the-road (OTR) routes preferred
Pay: $28.00 - $29.00 per hour
