CONSTRUCTION DRIVER – DMV AREA

Job Summary
Xcel Construction Inc. is looking for a reliable and responsible Construction Driver to support our construction operations throughout the DMV area. The driver will be responsible for transporting construction materials, tools, equipment, and employees between our office, suppliers, and various job sites.
Responsibilities
- Drive a company pickup truck safely and responsibly throughout Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
- Transport construction materials, tools, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites.
- Pick up materials from suppliers and deliver them to construction projects.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials when necessary.
- Ensure materials and equipment are properly secured during transportation.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Maintain the vehicle clean and in good operating condition.
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, mileage, and vehicle use.
- Perform other driving and general construction-support duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to legally drive a pickup truck.
- Previous experience driving a pickup truck, preferably in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with the DMV area (Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia) preferred.
- Ability to safely load, transport, and unload construction materials.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors and assist with physical tasks when required.
- Construction experience is a plus but not required.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation to report to work.
- Availability to travel throughout the DMV area.
- Ability to lift and move construction materials and equipment as needed.
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay: Competitive, based on experience.
