Hops N Shine is looking for experienced bartenders as we come into patio season. This is a full time position and requires open weekend availability.

We are a craft beer bar and beer garden focus on fast and friendly service. We need someone who has experience behind the bar and who is comfortable with opening/closing a restaurant. Communication skills and the ability to work well with others are a must. We train employees for success and will teach you everything necessary to maximize sales and your tips. Hops N Shine has a great regular crowd who takes care of our staff. We hold events like trivia, cigar night, yappy hours, sip and paints, craft beer tastings, and more!

Qualified candidates should have at least 1 year of serving and/or bartending experience. Experience with craft beer is preferred, but we're willing to teach you the beer side of things. Attention to detail and the ability to follow batch recipes for our house moonshine cocktails is required.

Responsibilities:

- Operating a point of sale system (POS) to take orders

- Preparing / serving / running food and drinks

- Providing quality customer service

- Maintaining a clean restaurant, from wiping down tables to sweeping floors

Requirements:

- Ability to work in tight spaces

- Able to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude

- Reliable transportation to and from establishment

- Ability to work weekends

About Us:

Creative Bar Concepts, LLC, is a hospitality group previously owned by the Tysons Biergarten. CBC currently operates Hops N Shine (Alexandria, VA) and Shipgarten (Tysons, VA). We run a very busy schedule of events focused around our community, charitable organizations, and the beer, wine, and liquor brands we offer.
