Duties

Assist with meal preparation to ensure timely service of nutritious dishes
Prepare food items according to established recipes, standards, and safety guidelines
Serve meals to residents or customers in a friendly, professional manner
Handle food safely by following proper hygiene protocols and food handling procedures
Support kitchen operations by cleaning utensils, equipment, and work areas regularly
Contribute to catering events or special meal services as needed
Maintain accurate records of food inventory and supplies

Requirements

Previous experience in dietary departments, food service, or related roles preferred
Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation and food handling
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment with excellent attention to detail
Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
Familiarity with restaurant or catering experience is a plus
Basic understanding of kitchen safety protocols and sanitation practices
