Duties

Manage daily bar operations, including supervising staff, overseeing food and beverage service, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards
Lead staff training and development to promote excellent customer service, efficient food preparation, and proper food handling procedures
Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability
Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and reconciliation at shift end
Ensure the bar maintains a clean, organized workspace aligned with food safety regulations and hospitality standards
Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure seamless food production, catering services, and banquet events when applicable
Interview potential team members, participate in hiring decisions, and supervise staff scheduling to ensure optimal coverage during shifts

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant or bar management within casual dining or fine dining environments
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
Expertise in POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervision, and team management
Solid understanding of inventory control, budgeting, and food management practices
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
Background in hospitality management with experience in kitchen management, catering, banquet services, or hotel environments is highly desirable
