Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and decorating cakes, with a keen eye for detail and design. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating beautiful and delicious cakes that meet our customers' specifications, ensuring high-quality standards in food production.

Responsibilities

Design and decorate cakes according to customer orders and specifications, ensuring aesthetic appeal and quality.
Prepare cake batter, frosting, and other ingredients as needed for decoration.
Utilize various decorating techniques, including piping, fondant work, and airbrushing.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with food safety standards.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely production and delivery of cakes.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with cake selections and custom orders.
Package finished products for display or delivery while ensuring presentation quality.

Experience

Previous experience in cake decorating or pastry arts is required.
Familiarity with food production processes within the food industry or restaurant settings is beneficial.
Strong skills in food preparation techniques and knowledge of baking principles.
Ability to use kitchen tools effectively, including knives and various decorating equipment.
Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
