We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining the standards of our restaurant. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including utensils and equipment.
Ensure proper food handling and storage practices to comply with health regulations.
Assist in menu planning, offering creative ideas for seasonal dishes or specials.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff, including dietary aides, to ensure smooth operations during service.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Experience

Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred.
Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques.
Knowledge of food handling procedures and dietary department regulations is a plus.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A background in culinary arts or related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
