MUST HAVE 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE DRIVING 26 FT OR GREATER BOX TRUCK.
Deliveries for a distribution company in Washington DC. Deliveries primarily in the DMV. 6:30am-2:30pm (but can vary depending on schedule. May require some overtime and an occasional weekend delivery)
.Duties include:
· Loading and unloading deliveries
· Unloading incoming trucks
· Drive a forklift
· Locating and driving to delivery locations
· Verifying material on delivery ticket is on the truck
· Signature from customer of delivered material
· Drive safely and follow all company safety protocols
· Assist warehouse manager with warehouse duties
- Lift heavy construction materials
- Sometimes perform deliveries on military bases
· Follow all OSHA guidelines
· Other driver and warehouse duties
Must be able to pass background check and get on secure Government and Military facilities.
Must be able to get DOT Driver card.
