Job Summary
We are seeking a charismatic and engaging Host to join our team. As a host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. This role requires a warm demeanor, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar seating systems is a plus!
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and make them feel welcomed.

Escort guests to their assigned seating areas or designated floors.

Assist guests with inquiries, providing information about the establishment, menu, and events.

Manage reservations and seating arrangements to maximize guest satisfaction and table turnover.

Maintain a clean and organized entrance area, ensuring necessary supplies are readily available.

Monitor and manage guest waitlists, providing accurate wait times and keeping guests informed.

Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless operations.

Stay informed about current promotions, events, and menu offerings to share with guests.

Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in customer service, preferably in hospitality or a restaurant setting.

Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience).

- Physical setting: Upscale casual restaurant.
