Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team in a high volume Irish Bar on the Wharf location in DC. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and creating exceptional beverages in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following company recipes and standards
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system
- Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role
- Knowledge of basic math for measuring ingredients and handling payments
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Strong customer service skills to ensure guest satisfaction
- Ability to multitask and demonstrate excellent time management
- Experience in brewing or mixing drinks is a plus
- Experience with banquet or event bartending is desirable
