Over a decade has passed since Crooked Run Fermentation started its journey out of a tiny setup in Leesburg, Virginia. After expanding to their much larger Sterling, VA facility a few years later they focused their efforts on putting together a portfolio of world-class beer, wine, and cider that they could be proud of. Bringing their distinct style of brewing to the District of Columbia is the culmination of a lot of hard work and dedication to the art of fermentation, an innate love for Washington D.C., and the need to show the world what they’ve been up to.
With a sleek new space adjacent to Union Market in Northeast, Crooked Run Fermentation will create a room that celebrates the art of brewing and fermentation without pretension. Partnering up with J&J Pizza, a new concept serving NY style pizza and wings, bright salads, and killer appetizers that pair perfectly with beer, seems like the perfect evolution of the concept. World-class beer deserves world-class food in a world-class space, and this is that space.
Crooked Run Fermentation is searching for talented individuals to bartend at their shiny new DC Taproom. Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Being ambassadors of hospitality first at every opportunity.
- Having a deep love of beer and pizza and wanting to share that love with the world every day.
- Being an ambassador of Crooked Run beer, wine, and cider with everyone that walks in the front door.
- Pairing beer with an innovative menu put together.
- Realizing that the beer industry is ever evolving and coming to work wanting to learn something new every day.
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the space.
- Ensuring all draft systems are running in a safe, clean, and efficient manner.
- Reporting any maintenance issues to CRF immediately.
