We are looking for hospitality minded candidates to join our team. You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. Front of House (FOH) responsibilities include greeting, ensuring tables are prepared when guests arrive, presenting menus, making recommendations, running food, maintaining tables, etc. You need to be quick on your feet and have a polite and friendly attitude. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help in providing an awesome dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Thorough understanding of our menus and offerings.
- Opening and Closing side work.
- Prepare and maintain both dining room and server areas with special attention to sanitation and presentation.
- Attend to customers both in the restaurant and over the phone.
- Become proficient in POS and 3rd party ordering platforms.
- Provide great customer and team experiences utilizing steps of service.
- Answer questions or make recommendations based on palates, allergies and/or dietary restrictions.
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.
- Mitigate complaints or problems with a positive and understanding attitude.
Skills
- Previous experience in a fast casual dining environment preferred.
- Hands-on experience in cashier duties, FOH support duties, organizing and distributing take-out, etc. Ability to multi-task is a must.
