Duties
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment, such as a pallet jack, or hand truck
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Verify the contents of each delivery against shipping papers or manifests
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure
Salary:
- $150 per day/$300 per weekend
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
- One year or more of commercial driving experience within the past 3 years, or totaling 5 years within 10 years for a Delivery Company.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating using GPS or maps
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
- Experience operating different types of delivery vehicles
As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products are delivered to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. You will be responsible for safely operating a delivery vehicle, loading and unloading products, following delivery schedules, and providing excellent customer service. If you have experience in route driving, commercial driving, and possess good communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this position.
Requirements:
- Clean driving record
- Must be 22 years of age or older
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a physical and drug screening
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 150 pounds)
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
