H2 Performance Consulting (H2) is seeking a Junior Level Data Scientist to support PEO Digital & Enterprise Services DevSecOps Center of Excellence (DCE) Data Science shared services capability. This role will provide subject matter expertise to perform data analytics and visualization of IT services health. Work is to be supported via telework in the following locations with infrequent on-site meeting requirements: San Diego, CA, Norfolk, VA, Reston, VA or Arlington, VA.
The Data Scientist responsibilities will include:
Development of data analytics and visualization technical implementation guide.
Providing technical and strategic leadership to shape data models
Creation and maintenance of optimal data lake as single source of truth.
Automation of data sources and orchestration tools to maintain data currency and accuracy.
Assembly of large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
Identification, design, and implementation of internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
Creation of infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using automated orchestration tools.
Creation of analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key performance metrics.
Coordination with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
Creation of data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.
Supporting planning for major data modernization initiatives.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Clearance: Active Secret clearance
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related technical field OR equivalent experience
Demonstrated Experience In:
Navy products, services, programs, policies and procedures
Application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Cloud hosted applications
Agile methodologies
