Summary: Responsible for partnering with sales representatives to activate the FJ mobile FitLab performance footwear fitting experience at Tier 1 green grass facilities and select marque events in the US. The FJ Fitter will execute the brand's best-in-class performance footwear fit program inclusive of event management and marketing (in partnership with the sales representative), event set-up and execution, green grass staff education, and consumer engagement and drive to conversion. He/she will become an expert on FJ performance golf footwear including knowledge of the product line and best practices on footwear fitting. This role will require mobility and up to 90% travel, with a series of 6-week stints in a major metro location before moving to a new base of operations.
Responsibilities:
Successfully complete FJ FitLab events - Plan and execute FJ FitLab events. Partner with sales representatives on event management & communications. Lead fit activations on site inclusive of set-up, consumer fit experiences, trade education, and tear down. Partner with sales teams to establish schedules for fitting events per location. This role will transition between two hubs that will be assigned once training is completed. Essentially each fitter will be assigned a SUMMER HUB and a WINTER HUB. The Summer Hubs will cover key markets in the northern portion of the US and initially will include: New England, NY/Long Island, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Chicago, Northern California and then transition to a pre-determined Winter Hub region in the south: Florida, Texas, Arizona, Southern California
Trade Product Education & Merchandising- Extend and improve the merchandising of all FJ products in key partners stores. Train staff on the essentials of footwear as performance enhancing golf equipment. Perform sales-support services (count and fill for gloves, apparel merchandising) as needed and available
Provide weekly reports on all shoe fitting events concluded and an updated brand experience calendar. Feedback trends and insights from the fitting days to key stakeholders.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferred.
A minimum one (1) year fitting experience in a superior customer service environment. Must have knowledge of fitting fundamentals. Must have proven customer service skills. 2 years of customer facing and/or sales related experience preferred Customer service experience within Golf &/or sports footwear is a plus Solid knowledge of Excel, Word & Microsoft office.
This role involves significant travel for ~5 months/year, with the other 7 months primarily based in the persons home territory. Ability to stand, bend and/or kneel for extended periods of time (8+ hours per day). Expected to lift and carry objects upwards of 100 LBS, stand for long periods and be required to drive to events. Work schedule involves irregular time and days, including evening and weekends. This role is primarily remote with significant travel during peak fitting seasons. Must have a valid driver's license and pass a Department of Motor Vehicle Review.
Salary: $56,170-$70,213
