Job Description: Banquet Bartender (Part-Time)
Beautiful Manor Country Club is seeking a hospitality focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Bartender in our Banquet Department. The ideal candidates will possess excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, strong bartendering knowledge and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our members and their guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for setting up bar area in accordance with various functions and club events such as weddings, receptions, golf outings, and swim meets.
- Provide high-quality service to guests, ensuring a positive experience at each event.
- Serve beverages while adhering to all safety and service standards.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of drink recipes, alcohol regulations, and food pairings.
- Perform standard cleaning and organization duties before, during, and after events.
- Collaborate with event staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
Candidates should demonstrate a strong passion for hospitality, with a focus on creating memorable experiences for our members and their guests.
Position Qualifications and Functional Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. Furthermore, he / she should possess the following personal and professional characteristics:
- High School Diploma
- Reliable
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English via verbal, written, and computer skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance.
- A gracious, friendly, patient and helpful attitude towards members/guests.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a very busy environment.
- Strong task and time management abilities.
- Must be well organized, have a strong work ethic and dependable.
- Tact and diplomacy for dealing with difficult situations.
- Eye for detail.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
