Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and baking of various pastries and desserts.
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Handle food items with care, ensuring proper food handling techniques are followed.
- Support catering orders by preparing items as requested by customers.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, mixers, and knives.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bakery or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Strong decorative skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for baking and willingness to learn new techniques in pastry preparation.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
