We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stockroom Utility Operator to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining an organized and efficient stockroom, ensuring inventory accuracy, and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks related to inventory and stock management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and organize incoming stock and materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock levels as needed.
- Pick, pack, and prepare items for distribution or shipping.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks (if certified).
- Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Keep stockroom areas clean, safe, and organized.
- Assist in processing returns and managing damaged goods.
- Collaborate with other departments to fulfill stock requests efficiently.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in warehouse, stockroom, or inventory management is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift certification (preferred but not required).
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $39.00 - $41.00 per hour
