We are seeking a Kitchen Steward:
We are looking for dedicated and hardworking kitchen staff to join our team! As part of our crew, your role will be vital to ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure that the kitchen facility is kept clean and organized at all times, following sanitation guidelines. This includes cleaning work surfaces, floors, and kitchen equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Receiving and Storing Deliveries: Unload, inspect, and properly store delivered goods, ensuring they meet quality standards and are stored in the appropriate areas.
- Supporting the Kitchen Team: Assist the cooks and kitchen staff during service by quickly removing dirty items, dishes, and trash from the hotline, allowing the team to stay focused on cooking.
- General Assistance: Provide additional support as needed to ensure the kitchen runs efficiently, helping with prep work, organizing supplies, and assisting with any tasks to support the kitchen team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Work experience as a Dishwasher
- Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines
- Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed
- Time management skills
- Attention to detail and sanitation rules
- Availability to work in shifts, during weekends and evenings
