Hamilton Enterprises, LLC, a CPA, Management and IT consulting firm, is seeking qualified and available IT Audit Junior, Financial Analyst, and Junior Financial Program Support to support a Federal client in Washington, DC. The position is full-time and long-term.
Responsibilities:
IT Audit Junior
- Assist the Government with tasks relating to the remediation of FFMIA / FMFIA Section IV NFR’s. Tasks can include interviewing Government employees, meeting with internal and external Government officials, performing assessments, performing analysis on systems, documenting systems and controls, researching, developing FFMIA/FMFIA section IV/ OMB Circular A-123 Appendix D assessment process, and documenting and assessing the testing and results of Information Technology General Controls (ITGCs) and Business Process Application Controls (BPACs).
Financial Analyst
- Provide support in conducting internal control assessments and maturing the internal control program within the agency in addition to performing the internal control assessments and recommending process improvements when appropriate
- Provide overall advice or recommendations to reduce risk, increase efficiency and effectiveness, and advance maturity of the Internal Control Program.
Junior Financial Program Support
- Plans, organizes, conducts, participates, establishes, and maintains business processes that contribute to effective management control over program operations
- Implementing, reviewing, evaluating, and conducting transactions related to the formulation, preparation, execution, and submission aspects of the financial management process.
Mandatory qualifications:
IT Audit Junior:
· 2 years technical experience in internal controls, compliance, and audit, specifically FISCAM.
· Must also be familiar and understand NIST 800-53, Security and Privacy Controls for Federal
· Information Systems and Organizations.
Financial Analyst
· 4 years or more experience in financial/accounting operations, internal controls, audit remediation, or audit.
· Experience in conducting internal control assessments, risk assessments, entity level control assessments and verification and validation (V&V) of corrective action plans.
· ability to effectively manage task orders of this size and scope, including multiple work streams affecting all aspects of the A-123 process.
Junior Financial Program Support
· Two years of experience in Accounts Payable, or Accounts Receivable, or Financial Reporting
Additional knowledge and skills:
§ Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook and Power Point.
§ Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
§ Ability to conduct comprehensive research and analysis
§ Ability to develop point papers, briefing materials, and to make oral presentation of these materials to all levels of management, if necessary
