Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our IT infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of various technology systems. This position is perfect for individuals looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the overall efficiency of our organization.

Responsibilities

Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
Assist in the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computers, printers, and peripheral devices.
Support and troubleshoot enterprise applications (ERP, LMS, CRM, etc.).
Maintain IT inventory and asset management records. • Support user accounts, email systems, and access control.
Maintain and support learning platforms such as LMS (e.g., Canvas, Populi), CRM systems, websites, and other academic tools.
Help manage and support productivity platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).
Install, configure, and update software and security patches on devices.
Monitor system performance and report issues to IT management.
Assist with the maintenance of IT inventory and equipment records. • Help prepare IT equipment for events, classes, and special functions.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement and support.
Diagnose and resolve system errors or malfunctions for users
Support audio/visual equipment as needed.
Collaborate with other departments to address organizational technology needs
Maintain IT inventory and asset management records.
Provide basic user training and documentation for IT systems.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the IT Department. Essential Duties Comply with all testing procedures, check in testing candidates, verify

Experience

Familiarity with IT infrastructure components such as servers, networks, firewalls, and mobile devices is essential.
Experience with Windows Server environments is highly desirable.
Knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP and DNS is preferred.
Strong communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with team members and end-users.
Previous experience in an IT support role or relevant coursework in information technology is a plus.
