Shik Consulting Group is seeking an enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistant / Sales Associate to join our events team in Washington, DC. If you have a passion for customer service, sales, and working in a fast-paced retail environment, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers, providing excellent customer service
- Promote and upsell products and services to maximize sales
- Provide accurate product knowledge and tailored recommendations
- Process transactions quickly and accurately at checkout
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and goals
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive store environment
Requirements
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy retail setting
- Willingness to learn product knowledge and sales techniques
- Positive, energetic, and customer-focused attitude
- Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred (not required)
