- Busy Orthopedics practice is looking for a Full Time, Medical Assistant, to provide assistance to our highly skilled team of Clinicians. The Medical Assistant will perform direct and indirect patient care as assigned by our licensed Clinician staff. The position is available in Fairfax/Fair Oaks, VA.
Some responsibilities include -
- Provide assistance to MD and PA with basic triage, assist in the monitoring of patient reactions to treatment, and communicate adverse reactions immediately to the appropriate person.
- Maintain patient documentation, notes and follow up.
- Maintain appropriate supply inventory levels on a daily basis, inspect, sterilize, and maintain/clean equipment in accordance with clinics standards.
- Participate in any other designated projects or roles as directed by the Clinician staff.

- Full time Mondays/Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Fridays 8 AM - 4:30 PM , 32 hours per week. (Off on Thursdays)

Some Medical Assistant Requirements -
- High School or higher level of education
- Be available to work Mondays/Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Fridays 8 AM - 4:30 PM , 32 hours per week.
- Bi-Lingual, English/Spanish preferred.
- CPR certified
- Have strong written, phone, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Some Medical Assistant experience is required, training will also be provided.
- Must own a vehicle for commuting between clinic locations.
