Effective Chiropractic has an opening for a bilingual front reception assistant/Chiropractic Assistant 20-25 hours per week that involves assisting the general manager and front desk administrative duties. Training to become a Chiropractic Assistant can also be provided. The position requires an outgoing, friendly, efficient, and hardworking person with the ability to multitask to handle and manage patient flow. A successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, integrity, be reliable, have a team mindset, and be willing to go above and beyond to participate in the growth of the office and themselves.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Front Desk: checking patients in/out, taking payments, answering a multi-line phone, scheduling patient appointments, account balancing, insurance verification and some billing responsibilities, emailing, copying, supporting doctor staff, maintaining office files and patient records electronic and paper, controlling accounts receivables/balancing daily and weekly totals, collecting co-pays and deductibles from patients, ordering supplements/supplies and maintaining inventory, communication with attorneys, doctor offices and hospitals, maintain reception area and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all time, operate standard office equipment regularly, including a fax machine, a copy machine, and a computer. Keep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and calls received, receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail, maintain the general office filing system. Sales - one of the most essential parts of the front desk is helping keep patient's accountable for their care plans and visits. Being able to call patients and help them keep their appointments or reschedule them is crucial to their progress and working with the marketing manager with overseeing marketing in-house and community events.
Customer service: being upbeat, bubbly, and having a great personality is also significantly important. We can teach you how to do tasks, but you can't always teach personality. Chiropractic Assistant:
- Responsible for assisting doctors with patient care including physical therapy modalities and rehab exercises
- Teach and monitor patients performing rehab exercises and teach home exercises
- Working with the front desk staff to optimize patient satisfaction
- Back-up front desk staff: answering phones, taking messages, confirm appointments and other administrative tasks as assigned
- Provides the Doctor with information about the patient’s response to treatment, including subjective findings documented in the patient’s medical record.
- Complete all required clinical documentation accurately.
- Maintains a clean and safe physical environment.
- Provides basic education and information to patients, making sure patients’ questions are answered and anxieties alleviated.
- Works flexible or extended hours where necessary.
- Participates in health center in-services and meeting, listening and respecting others’ ideas.
- Manage internal marketing such as social media, newsletters, email campaigns, and internal events.
- Manage and oversee external marketing events, such as booking lunch and learns and following up with patient leads.
- Be a liaison between referring businesses
- Abides by Rules of Confidentiality.

REQUIREMENTS
- +1 years experience in either chiropractic admin, dental admin, or medical admin.
- Chiropractic Assistant experience and/or licensure preferred but not required.
- High school diploma
- Prior experience in a Chiropractic office helps a lot but is not mandatory

- Wednesday 8 - 7 pm
- Friday 8 - 1 pm
- Saturday: 8 - 1 pm
