Hands-On Position with a Focus on Building Operations and Repairs
Are you a skilled, reliable, and safety-conscious individual with a knack for solving problems? Do you take pride in keeping spaces running smoothly? We're looking for a General Maintenance Technician to join our team and take on a hands-on role in ensuring that our commercial building is well-maintained and operates seamlessly.
What You'll Do:
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on building systems, including painting, drywall patching, carpet tile replacement, plumbing, carpentry, and more.
- Ensure all maintenance work meets industry standards and equipment manufacturer specifications.
- Document all activities through our work order system, ensuring all tasks are completed in line with the lease and landlord obligations.
- Respond to emergency repairs, assisting in unscheduled issues when needed.
- Communicate effectively with tenants, visitors, and property management, ensuring clear and proactive communication.
- Monitor and assist contractors on-site to ensure quality and safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Who You Are:

- Mechanically Inclined: You love working with your hands and have experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic building systems.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using smartphones, computers, and web-based applications for documenting and managing tasks.

- Proactive: You take initiative and have a sense of urgency when it comes to building maintenance.
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of experience in commercial building operations, maintenance, or construction roles preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks that include standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
- Ability to pass a company and government clearance background check.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
