Job Summary
Safely transports residents to and from scheduled destinations in accordance with community and company standards. Ensures the comfort, safety, and well-being of all passengers while providing excellent customer service and maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the community vehicle.
Assists in general maintenance in/around the senior living community when not driving the community shuttle bus.
Working Schedule is either Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday.
Essential Functions
1. Operates community vehicles in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner, following all traffic laws and regulations.
2. Assists residents with entering and exiting the vehicle, providing physical support as needed.
3. Maintains a clean and well-kept vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
4. Adheres to scheduled pick-up and drop-off times, communicating any delays to the appropriate staff.
5. Conducts regular safety inspections of the vehicle, checking fuel, oil, tires, lights, and other basic maintenance items.
6. Reports any mechanical issues or safety concerns to management immediately.
7. Keeps accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel usage as required.
8. Assists residents with packages, mobility devices, or other personal items during transport.
9. Follows all departmental procedures related to safety, sanitation, and emergency protocols.
10. General building maintenance/repairs.
Education and Experience Prior experience working with seniors preferred. Experience operating passenger vehicles or vans is strongly preferred.
Experience with building maintenance strongly preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required. Current CPR and First Aid certification. Experience with general building maintenance.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
