Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and safety while efficiently transporting goods. This role involves driving a box truck, managing deliveries, and ensuring that all loads are properly secured and delivered on time.
Duties
- Operate a box truck to transport goods to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork for each route.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns during the delivery process.
- Assist in warehouse operations when not on the road, including inventory management and organization of goods.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record is preferred.
- Experience in delivery driving or as a courier is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics operations.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and address their needs.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $700.00 - $1,000.00 per week
