The Montgomery Parks’ Activation Team is seeking Special Event Assistants. The Activation Team is all about creating unforgettable experiences through a variety of special events and festivals throughout the county. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who are passionate about events and outdoor programs to join our team. In this part-time role, you will be at the heart of the action, providing on-site support at special events and programs including concerts, festivals, races, community events, art performances and more.
Our 2025 event season is just getting started! This role offers the flexibility of working on weekdays, weekends, evenings, and mornings, based on the event schedule. Special Event Assistants can expect $15.45 to $19.75 per hour with 20-30 hours/week through the end of the Summer. Working Conditions
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for at least two hours at a time.
Ability to walk at least half a mile and up and down moderate hills without difficulty.
Tolerance for working in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, humidity, and cold.
