PrideStaff is partnering with a prestigious higher learning client in Laurel, MD, to find an energetic and professional Event Support Assistant! This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting the planning and execution of a major upcoming event.

This is a 6-week temporary assignment, perfect for someone available immediately.

The Details:

Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Duration: 6 Weeks (Temporary Assignment)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Location: Laurel, MD

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll be crucial to the event's success by assisting with various administrative and coordination tasks:

Communication: Make and receive calls to coordinate logistics with vendors, attendees, and internal teams.
Planning Support: Assist with various aspects of event planning and execution.
Scheduling: Manage schedules and coordinate planning meetings.
Documentation: Take detailed, accurate notes during planning sessions.
On-Site Coordination: Provide support during the event, including attendee check-ins and general coordination.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Experience: Recent or relevant experience successfully handling administrative tasks.
Skills: Excellent time management, task prioritization, and customer service skills.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
Commitment: Willingness to submit to a background check and/or drug screen.
