We are looking for a highly motivated and organized bilingual individual to join our team and assist us in creating and running fine Chinese art auctions at our gallery! The ideal candidate will be fluent in both written and spoken Mandarin Chinese as well as English. A positive attitude and a willingness to pitch in are a must! Visa sponsorship, including H-1B, may be available for qualified candidates, subject to applicable laws and government approval. The job is separated into the following rough outline of duties required:

· Answering inquiries from Chinese buyers and assisting WeChat customers with auction registrations, detailed photo requests, and payments.

· Serve as the primary point of contact and coordinator for marketing in China, overseeing booking and execution.

· Travel and meet with customers and acquire consignments

· Create and update social media content in Chinese and English social media platforms

· Assist with the storage and organization of auction lots.

· Assist in tagging lots, and staging auction previews.

· Guide and assist clients during auction previews.

· Assist team members with tasks as needed.

· Other duties as required to assist fellow team members.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree and experience in an art-related field preferred
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English
Familiarity with AuctionFlex, Airtable, or other auction/inventory management programs a plus
Experience with various Chinese and English social media platforms content creation a plus
Exceptional organizational skills and comfort with providing administrative assistance to multiple senior team members
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated commitment to impeccable customer service
Ability to take directions and work collaboratively with a small team to complete projects with speed and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a frequent need to multi-task and willingness to handle work outside your given job duties

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
