Job Summary
As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be the heartbeat of our dining experience, creating memorable moments for our guests through exceptional service and hospitality. You’ll engage with customers, take orders, and ensure that every meal is served with a smile. Your enthusiasm will set the tone for a vibrant atmosphere, and your attention to detail will guarantee that our guests leave delighted and eager to return.
What you’ll do
- Greet and welcome guests with warmth, providing them with menus and answering any initial questions about the offerings.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using Squar POS or other POS systems, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly while maintaining a keen awareness of guest needs throughout their dining experience.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service while adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips according to restaurant policies.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing any concerns or feedback in a professional manner.
Basic qualifications
- High school graduate / GED
- Fluency in English - is required
- Dari/Farsi or Pashto is preferred
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables at once.
Preferred qualifications
- Culinary experience or knowledge of fine dining standards is a plus.
- Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations management is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing are essential.
- Experience in a nightclub or high-energy environment is beneficial.

Pay: $12.50 - $60.00 per hour
