Men's Retail Experience Required
Men's Suit department Sales Person in a 200sq ft established department, within MCX, Henderson Hall Military Exchange, Arlington VA for Alexandre London Inc.
Alexandre London Inc is a UK based suit company that has traded successfully for over 150 years and 75 years in the USA, 28 years with Marine Corps Exchange.
Within the MCX department store on Henderson Hall Marine Base, we sell off the rack suits, jackets and trousers with shirts, ties and accessories. Yearly sales average $150k per year and growing. We also sell made to measure products. You will be required to complete inventory, sales reports and enter sales data daily. Must have experience in Men's retail, Outlook, Excel and Word documents.
Pay is salaried and paid on 13th of each month... Two weeks in arrears / two weeks in advance. Yearly salary amount is $35 - $38k dependent on experience, plus commission, bonus and clothing allowance.
Duties include:
- Sell Off The Rack & Made to Measure products within our department
- Inventory product daily
- Sales entry, and other daily reports on PC
- Keep your department clean, tidy and secure
- Liaise with main store management
- Check sales numbers and items, complete invoicing weekly
- Write sales reports weekly
- Implement promotions
- Dress mannequins & displays using your own ideas & choices of product
- Monitor sales to request certain sizes and styles from our head office
- Individual targets to achieve weekly
- Unpack deliveries & ticket as necessary
- Meet customer needs
Experience Required:
- Retail Men's experience is a must, with a preference in Menswear Suiting.
- Sales knowledge in a store location is preferred.
- Email, Excel & Word experience is required.

You will be working within a Marine Corps Exchange department store on JB Henderson Hall / Fort Myer, in an established 1 person, men's suit department and must be a very motivated person, with a willingness to learn.
This is a great opportunity to use your imagination and make sales in a concession that has been in place for 28+ years!
Candidates must have clean driving record and a vehicle as you will be required to work one day at Fort Myer and four at Henderson Hall.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
