Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a keen interest in the culinary arts. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to fine dining standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Process payments accurately, handling cash transactions with basic math skills.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Culinary experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining individual accountability for assigned tasks.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments efficiently.
