Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Roll-Off Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate various types of trucks, including roll-off, front loader, rear loader, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers, to transport waste, recyclables, and other materials efficiently and responsibly. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation and adherence to safety standards will ensure smooth delivery and pickup services while maintaining excellent customer relations. Responsibilities

Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks such as roll-off trucks, front loaders, rear loaders, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers to load, transport, and unload materials.
Load and unload materials manually or with mechanical equipment, ensuring secure placement for transportation.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
Drive in compliance with all federal, state, and local traffic laws while maintaining a clean driving record.
Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary using mechanical aids or manual effort to ensure efficient loading/unloading processes.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries while providing exceptional service.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, mileage logs, and vehicle maintenance reports.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license specific to roll-off trucks; knowledge of manual transmissions is preferred.
Mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks including dump trucks, flatbeds, tractor-trailers, front loaders, rear loaders, and roll-off trucks.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during loading/unloading operations.
Strong understanding of load securing techniques for various truck types to ensure safety during transit.
Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic regulations.
Experience in load & unload procedures using mechanical equipment or manual methods.
Familiarity with operating heavy machinery such as front loaders or other material handling equipment is a plus.
