Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a blend of creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or catering settings is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of liquor and supplies.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure seamless operations.
- Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during banquet events or catering services to ensure timely service delivery.
- Stay updated on drink trends, menu changes, and promotions to enhance sales opportunities.
Skills
- Proficiency in Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Previous fine dining experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food service protocols.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Experience in the food industry, including food safety practices and food handling regulations.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Background in hospitality or retail math is beneficial for managing inventory and sales reports.
